You ignore history and geography, the Russia-China alliance is only one of immediate convenience. It will disappear as soon as the current international issue leaves the front pages. They are natural enemies; geography makes them so. That long border difficult to monitor & control with the territory north of it (Siberia) sparsely populated by Russians (Who might now prefer to think of themselves as Siberians!). Also, long interior lines of defense\supply if you’re a Russian defending, if you’re Chinese much shorter lines of defense\supply. It’s not well known but Russia has a border problem now with China similar to the US, nowhere near in scope of the US but growing. As Russia weakens and they will no matter how this turns out for Putin. China strengthens vis-a-vis the Russians, the poorly settled and still poorly controlled Russian Far East will beckon more and more. Xi, his advisors, any successors in the wings and know this!

Not ignoring it. I’m saying that for a period of time Russia and China will have a compelling mutual interest to work together to undermine the USA and the Western alignment of nations from the New World.

This isn’t the middle ages or 1900’s. The factor they are working with is a very powerful United States and WEF Globalists.

Its a problem which has been underlined and underscored by the the implementation of all the sanctions. Even when you have money and influence, sanctions will work poorly over time in this case because not every country is going along with it, especially China.
