Hard to see why they’d be doing that if they’re letting Israel into Syrian airspace to take out those same terrorists. The terrorists that Israel is interested in are supported by Iran.
They sure have in the past under communist regimes
However they supoortee Assad in the Syrian civil war who opposed ISIS
It gets a lot more complicate and multi sided from there
