Ukraine absolutely should not accept any offer that bars them from entering self-defense agreements with other nations. Restrictions on the number of foreign troops that can be present in Ukraine, and prohibition on the deployment of nuclear weapons in Ukraine, are worth duscussing. But a flat-out ban on entering any alliance should be a non-starter.
