The Constitution says nothing about separation of Church and State. It says the government can neither establish a religion nor prevent the free exercise of religion. I despise Cuomo as much as anyone here, but even if he were still governor he could speak in front of a church congregation without running afoul of the Constitution.
Well it doesn’t say we shouldn’t tax the hell out of churches that get involved in political matters.
