I’ve heard speculation that Putin wants control of the plants to avoid disaster. But, I have no evidence of that, it just makes sense.
Yes it actually seems smart for Putin to make securing the nuclear facilities a top priority, and in my opinion shows that he’s not crazy like the media keeps telling us.
