Senator John McCain said Sunday he is ashamed of the lack of help being given to Ukraine in its fight against Russian-backed separatists.
“I’m ashamed of my country, I’m ashamed of my president and ashamed of myself that I haven’t done more to help these people,” McCain told “Face the Nation” host Bob Schieffer.

“Ukrainians aren’t asking for American boots on the ground,” McCain said. “They’re asking for weapons to defend themselves, they’re being slaughtered and military is being shattered.”
McCain has long urged arming Ukraine. He noted that it doesn’t have weapons to stop Russian tanks currently inside eastern Ukraine.
“Some of the best Russian special forces are there, and they will continue this aggression for as long as they can get away with it,” McCain said. “Vladimir Putin wants Ukraine not to be part of Europe, and he is succeeding in doing so.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a member of the Armed Services panel, said Obama’s refusal to supply arms to Ukraine “is another low point in a presidency which has many to choose from.”
“This latest episode once again shows that under President Obama’s leadership it is better to be America’s enemy than her friend,” he added.
“It’s a sad fact that our enemies are seldom challenged while our friends are constantly undercut and abandoned.”
Biden was placed in office because he is compromised.
He does what Simon Says. Simon Says open the borders, Simon Says play the Green New Deal card, Simon Says play the race card. Biden will continue to do what he is told.
There will be severe consequences if Biden

The best thing we can do is to tell Zelensky to negotiate and seek peace. He should be told that Ukraine will not be part of NATO. Sending more arms to Ukraine will result in more senseless death and destruction.
When a fighter is being pummeled all over the ring with no hope of winning, yet he is filled with courage to fight on, the trainers must step in and stop the fight so their fighter is not seriously hurt and can fight another day. Time to end this slaughter.
Biden/Blinken see Ukraine as a way to bleed Putin and perhaps even regime change. We have declared economic war on Russia destroying their economy and currency. The Russian people will suffer the pain. And we are naive if we think that Putin will not retaliate in some way. Russia is a superpower in cyber warfare. What happens if Putin turns this loose on the West? Escalation will ensue possibly leading to a kinetic war. What is our endgame?

The buildup on the border started last April. We had plenty of time to signal Putin that he must stop and we could have been supplying the Ukrainians with weapons as a deterrent.
If they wanted to help Ukraine Biden wouldn’t have to told Zelensky that whether they join NATO is up to them. That’s the final line that was crossed.
Zelensky’s chief of staff, IIRC, reported that Joe offered him NATO membership on December 12th.
