John Daniel Davidson of "The Federalist" warned that neoconservatives are trying to spark another war, on Monday with FNC's Tucker Carlson.
TUCKER CARLSON: It is hardly a defense of the Russian invasion to ask, how much deeper into this war does the United States want to go?
JOHN DANIEL DAVIDSON: That's a good question. It's a question that prudence and cautious and circumspect leadership would be asking and advocating for in public.
You talked about Kinzinger with this crazy going on Twitter and talking tough about a no-fly zone. That kind of analysis doesn't quite get as far as what happens when you shoot the first Russian plane down. Which as you said, that means you are at war. The U.S. at war with Russia.
It's reckless, Tucker. The sad truth is I think there are a lot of people in Washington that would like to have a war with Russia. They would like the U.S. to be at war and they have their own reasons for wanting that.
TUCKER CARLSON: That's for sure. Some of it is pure emotion and people get carried away. We all get carried away, but this is too big of a question to allow yourself be carried away if you are a leader.
My question is -- Biden is taking the right position right now on this. But there is almost no bad idea he hasn't fallen for, like vaccine mandates to packing the Supreme Court. If he gets enough pressure he will change his view. How long off is that do you think?
JOHN DANIEL DAVIDSON: It's hard to say. This is the one issue in Washington where you can get bipartisan support. You know Republicans and Democrats can come together and say, "Let's get U.S. troops involved in a European land war."

Some of these neocons are actually advocating for a no-fly zone over Ukraine. So, yeah. You can bet they want a war with Russia. Something brief and glorious would do, I guess. Just be sure the boys are home by Christmas.
Tucker Carlson and his guests on this say despicable things.
I’m not itching for anything, there is a serious strategic threat from what Putin is doing. It could and should have been prevented.
No Biden did not do the right thing so far, as Tucker’s guest says.
Tucker and his guests were and are itching for a Russian invasion of Ukraine. That is outright sick.
These folks will be singing a different tune in six months. Fertilizer had already tripled for many US farmers according to a segment on Tucker and that was before this. Gas prices always rise come spring, 25% of worlds wheat comes from Russia/Ukraine and on and on
The idea this War in Ukraine is going to make the average consumer embrace the coming inflation, coming off Covid, thats not the side i want to be on.
We are already at war with Russia, as far as Russia is concerned, just as we were already at war with Hitler long before we admitted it and declared it. The delay in admitting it was costly then and the delay in admitting Putin’s ill intentions will not end before we admit the war he has started is already a war against us. Pretending Putin’s ambitions will end with Ukraine is merely sticking our heads in the sand for now. Before we are done the reality will pull our heads out of the sand.
You should actually read the article. Tucker and his guest are not supporting US military action.
I never once heard Tucker Carlson itching for a Russian invasion of any country. Do you work for MSNBC?
You folks look stupid when you comment before reading the article with comprehension. The exact opposite of what you said is actually the case in this story. And Tucker has been pretty obviously against military intervention in Ukraine.
We have a great many options to affect outcomes in this case before any overt military action. We just don’t have to leadership to use them.
If Biden handles this just right we can totally redo the Vietnam experience for a new generation!
Tucker and his guests were and are itching for a Russian invasion of Ukraine. That is outright sick.
You obviously haven’t watched any tucker lately. Tucker is so against any US intervention.
I think the people who want to bomb the Russian convoy or send US troops are raving mad. You gotta be a can short of a six pack to want to escalate tensions with russia because of the Ukraine invasion. Putin just might be mad. He does not like to lose face. What should that tell anyone with half a bandwidth up there in the noggin? Dude could say screw it and let em fly. Sorry but the time to help out Ukraine was years ago, not now.
Yeah but Putin can invade. You see your thinking is twisted.
Answer me directly what would you do when Putin invades NATO member Poland?
Answer me directly what would you do when Putin invades NATO member Poland?

Well theoretically the pressure to enact the NATO obligation to defend Poland would be irresistable. But since Belerus (and other countries) lile between Russia and Poland, Russie has a much weaker claim to invade Poland for security reasons.
Well losing DC, San Diego, Houston, and various spots with bases from Missouri west through NB, CO, NM, ND, MT, WA in one day would change these neocon millionaires’ portfolio values.
No need to worry about Detroit or Chicago anymore, they wouldn’t waste the payload cost when they are already lost as strategic targets.
Your statement is so false that it would be useless on my part to respond. Tucker is sickened by the invasion and massacre.
John Daniel Davidson: Delusional Neocons Are Itching For A War With Russia
Of course. The lobbyists must be in a frenzy trying to get the war machine up and running.
I am reminded of Iraq and George W. Bush’s (and media’s) lies about WMD. First, we need to protect our borders. We should stay out of it. We would lose any war with Biden as president.
They do and if there is any way humanly possible. They will get us in one. I am still betting that they can and will. It is just a matter of how long it will take the media to whip the masses into a frenzy. They have from now onward.
Ka-ching!
