Putin is looking for a way out, so he went to Macron, who I don’t trust.

This means it isn’t going well for Putin. He tried to start WWIII and he failed, the blowback is just beginning. The only people Putin helped were Chinese and the Biden crime family.

Exactly. The fact that Putin is calling weasel Macron and not the other way around is a sign that Putin is looking for a way out.

Also, no official photos of Putin released by the Kremlin in the past 2 days.

I think that's a real stretch. I believe Phtin saw an opportunity, based on the status of the U.S.

The current administration is a joke and couldn't even handle a withdrawal from Afghanistan. I also think the confidence of NATO in the administration is lacking. Let's not forget that Russia is an extremely significant player in energy for much of Europe; pull that plug and people will freeze.

Add those pieces together and it looks like good time to make a move. Then perhaps there was a gross over-estimation on how fast the Ukrainians would capitulate; which proved entirely wrong.

One idea though is that who might really benefit from all this? That could be China. If the action in Ukraine is prolonged, and the world focuses its attention and resources on Ukraine; what's to stop China from swooping in and capturing Taiwan. It's not a question of if China will make a move but when. At some point, China will have to aggressively expand its territory in a permanent way.
