It was single digits in San Antonio for three days. Windmill failure? Sabotage? No. Get a clue. Single digits in Manhattan for three days is enough to blow out the lights in some places. It is very low. For San Antonio? No

The power usage was beyond control

Add precipitation. Power lines with freezing rain weighing them down to breakage. Emergency crews driving on ice with no sanitation help with salt and sand -slowing them down.

We had such an ice storm in Long Island in the 1970s. No power for 2 weeks

People put a lot of trust in government facilities. Power companies medical community

I never live in a house without a fireplace.

No don’t wonder about last years Texas blowout. That was legit
