I’m not sure ya really wanna argue that McConnell controls Trump as an excuse. And I don’t know how you’d argue that Mitch made Trump choose the likes of Christie, Jared and a host of others as the people he thought best to advise him.
That’s not even touching on Fauci, whom Trump still can’t , when asked, come up with a reason to fire (then or now).
While everyone would like to be absolved of all the bad choices they make, it’s not the best trait for a leader to not accept responsibility for bad choices.
Notice the timing when they piece of s**t chooses to come out and say this, a time when it becomes blindingly obvious that they Russian invasion would have never have happened under Trump. I recall the weeks before Turtle’s last reelection - Levin screaming about how bad he was and how he had to be held to account. Three days before the election, and it ‘looked’ like Mitch would lose, Levin began screeching that he had to be elected so as to not ‘lose the Senate’. If Barr DIDN'T care he would say nothing and totally ignore the situation.
