And the other animals don’t care about them and some only feed off them when they can. Rest of the time, they just walk around and say “Bah.” Worthless except for when they are needed to be sheared (voting).
I’m reminded about another animal like them that was killed by the thousands (hunted into extinction) for their tongues and not for the blankets and other raw materials that the plains Indians used them for and nurtured their herds without mass culling...the buffalo.
