Very disappointing. Yes, Hyde has been local color in Sarasota for years, and looked to be a promising candidate. But he didn't just shoot himself in the foot on this one -- he blew it off.

Yes, he did. It’s sad as the incumbent, Vern Buchanan, is toward the RINO side of the Republican caucus and we would be better off if he was replaced by a true conservative, America first candidate.

Well, at least he’s not in District 1, where I live. If he were, I’m sure Gaetz would kick his butt in the primary.

Been in Florida for tree days and am enjoying myself. I had lunch in downtown Sarasota and listened to a friend play some guitar at a waterside bar on Anna Maria Island afterwards. Nice day.
