I totally get that Russia has a compelling need for a year round port.
I totally get that Ukrainian Crimea has a warm water port on the Black Sea.
But doesn’t Russia already have thousands of miles of warm water coastline on the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov?
Why not build your own fooking port, Putin!

I understand that you are ignorant of military stuff but the vehicle on video is ZRK Strela-10. It can’t be Russian by in principle, because there is no logic explanation why a Russian SAM can be in downtown Kiev, let alone such a dated model.
As for a missile find a video of the incident. It produced a trail typical to a SAM, there is another video showing SAM firing nearby.

Russia has always wanted a port on the Med. Always something in the way - the Ottomans, the Brits, NATO, ... They want something that can’t be blockaded.
