Actually he stepped down after the Nazis took Norway and the Low Countries.

You are good. I looked it up and Chamberlain did indeed resign the same day (May 10, 1940) that Norway fell and the Battle of France begin with the invasion of the low countries.

Although pockets of resistance continued into June and ended with an armistice dictated on German terms later in the month.
