Then gun owners better get organized as a militia. Individual gun owners are committing suicide if they think they can win against authorities with bigger and better guns.

The author seems to believe a fight would be resisters against regulars. My belief is it would be more effective to concentrate on business leaders who facilitate the government overreach. We all know who those people are in tech, industry, and finance. After a few lost, lost souls, the remaining ones would likely rapidly realign their allegiances, once they realized the private security forces draw many of their members from among those likely to align with the resistance.
