There are at least 5 new hybrid cars on our cul de sac. There were 4 before, including some owners on their 2nd and 3rd hybrid.
There are some excellent tax rebates at the federal and state level for buying a new ev or hybrid.

I had a 2014 Fusion that got about 40MPG. It was a sensible solution and if my wife and I were able to get in and out of conventional autos we’d still have it. My next vehicle will be a hybrid SUV or crossover. Of course, that’s if I could ever pry my wife out of her minivan.
That’s fine. As long as we expand our grid to accommodate our EVs. But we are not dking that.
