The US navy will make quick work of the Russians. The Russians are badly out numbered and out tech’d. Crimean, Baltic, and Pacific fleets are easily reached by strategic stealth assets.
Trust me, the Ruskies want no part of the US navy.
Economic sanctions will only fail because the Appeasment Biden Admin will not fully implement the next level restrictions.
Reality Check: Crimea was annexed by Russia during the Obama administration. The US Navy did NOTHING then and will certainly do NOTHING now.
PS: Russia has demonstrated hypersonic naval missiles, that's a game changer. The US Navy might play their usual role: getting one or more of their ships shot up to create a pretext to bring in more US military power and have a proper war. (See: Gulf of Tonkin, Pearl Harbor, USS Maine, etc.)
