I guess now the Biden administration will be pressing Ukraine to go to war to reclaim Donetsk and Luhansk.
Well I am pretty certain that The Bidet and company would probably go for that idea. Hopefully someone has enough sense to say no.
Be a shame if some details about the Bidet’s family businesses in Ukraine made their way into the media.
Reminiscent of Hitler taking Austria.
😂
I’d let him do it and swiftly add Ukraine to NATO.
I think he’s still getting strategic advantage but can we stop him? I’d draw the line at Western Ukraine.
Trust me, the Poles will do that for you.
I don’t favor any concession but Biden caused this and is incapable of stopping it. Even if we don’t accept this and put in sanctions, add Ukraine to Nato as a red line.
^^This.
Russia moves in to protect the "independent" areas...China moves on Taiwan.
NATO has an aneurysm.
How this works is: DPR and LPR declare independence from Ukraine; Russia recognizes that independence; DPR and LPR vote to become part of Russia; Russia accepts. Crimea 2014 revisited. It works. That’s why Putin promotes it.
That is accomplishing what must be accomplished
Fine with it. I have little patients to these massive states who are in no way responsive to the will of huge segments of the nation. Russia may not have the purest motives here, I don’t know but I see little justification for Ukraine to hold this huge disenfranchised population just because...
The river Zbruch would be the border.
But will he recognize Juneteenth?
“...adding that he had informed the French and German leaders of his decision.”
What is your party number, tovarishch?
“Ukraine already has a presence in those two places. In other words, the Russian-backed rebels don’t control all of the territories that Putin just declared independent.”
But it just gives Putin another excuse to “intervene.”
“Das war ein Befehl. Steiners Angriff war ein Befehl!”
Heh. And JoeBama poopy pants can’t recall anything except when is dessert and diaper change. Some fun...
“After recognizing the breakaway republics in the former Yugoslavia the west’s protests of outrage will ring hollow to the Russkies.”
The difference is that Yugoslavia as a country had already dissolved. Yugoslavia disintegrated quite quickly. Tito kept Yugoslavia together, but when he died in 1980 the regional bickering started in earnest, such that Yugoslavia, as a country, eventually became ungovernable. The last sense of any kind of unity was the 1984 Winter Olympics, and that was fragile.
“Steiner’s assault will bring it under control.”
LOL!
“Reminiscent of Hitler taking Austria.”
More like the Sudetenland.
