Why is the distance from Kyiv to Moscow of significance? It's less than 500 miles from the Canadian border to Washington, DC, and nobody in Washington is afraid of an attack from Canada. When has Ukraine shown any desire to attack Russia?
The map seems to be of Russian origin--it shows Crimea as part of Russia (not something internationally recognized).
