Yes of course I get that part, but how do the police know all the right tactics to deploy in a land where historically there's been no cause to call upon them on a practiced basis. Something's off about that.

They just paraded 8 or 10 horse mounted RCMPs thru the no go zone getting everyone all rilled up. Cops are locked arms pushing at the crowd.

These are standard police advancement tactics dating back to Mesopotamia and probably before. It’s nothing new. The point is the cops have a plan, and the protesters don’t even have a megaphone.
