The loanee can contest the appraisal and offer his own. . .but it’s up to the lender to decide, not Trump. Every real estate agent under the sun has contested an appraisal. . .in fact, it is the duty of a real estate agent to do so in the interest of negotiating the best price for their client.
And any bank that gives a loan based on the applicant’s valuation is already out of business. This is total BS just for nuisance value and blackening the Trump Brand.
