Here in the Bay Area, the local media plays up the “stop Asian hate” narrative ... and the puts on talking heads (some of them self-appointed leaders in the Asian community) complaining about “white supremacy” and Trump talking about the China virus. It’s utterly divorced from reality, but they can’t deviate from the narrative. The first step in solving any problem is to be honest about it. We’re not there yet.
The victims’ families aren’t playing along with the narrative; they know who killed their loved ones - and they already knew how dangerous they were. They’ve been selling food in the ‘hoods from behind bulletproof shields for decades...
