Biden’s decision — reached without consulting Israel, Greece or Cyprus, the main countries involved in the project — undercuts three of the strongest American allies in the Mediterranean region.
EastMed’s cancellation — an act of “appeasement” of Erdoğan — represents a major geopolitical victory for the Turkish strongman.
This guy is a disaster. Every day sets a new low.
Why are pipelines over there our frickin’ business anyway? 10% for The Big Guy?
If Europe really needs this pipeline, why don’t they fill the gap that Biden created? Are there threats of retribution?

Good for Turkey and Russia. Not so good for Europe. It's not clear to me what the US role here is. The pipeline isn't going to Delaware.
I don’t know how the US can “kill” this project if we are not financing it. The USA doesn’t control the whole Mediterranean. They should build it anyway and dare the US to try and stop them! Bad optics for Biden if he tried!

Dittos. People wonder why other countries hate us, maybe sticking our nose where it doesn’t belong has something to do with it. Imagine if another country told us what we could or couldn’t do with the Keystone pipeline. Maybe they did, maybe China nixed it with Biden, but that didn’t make headlines did it.
