It is treason according to 18 US Code 2381.

It is good for all to know what specifically is treason as separate from conspiracy, sedition, collusion to overthrow the United States.

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Anyone that has ever taken an oath of allegiance is subject to the above statute if they have in any way conspired to overthrow the United States and that includes overthrowing the President of the United States.

Trump referred to the United States, that in a "stronger era" the traitors could be sentenced to execution by firing squads.

Trump's Department of Justice in 2020 reinstated execution by hanging and firing squad. Let that sink in.

All federal government, state and local employees.
All military active, inactive, and veterans.
All elected office holders, past and present.
All naturalized US Citizens (e.g. Soros).

Overthrowing the President of the United States is an Act of War.

Once you know what separates treason (Oath) from all the rest, then you know why almost the entire swamp can be executed once convicted.

Side note: if 37 Electors from 2020 are decertified, then efforts to remove Biden cannot be viewed as treason as he will be deemed illegitimate.
