On the killing in earnest, I didn't have the usual and ongoing palace intrigue in mind. I meant that the government would kill subjects in order to get the survivors to stay in line. There are heroes - people who stayed on in 'essential jobs' during this pandemic who didn't know at the beginning if that choice would cost them their lives. Medical staff - people working in grocery stores, truck drivers... they kept the world moving and fed.

These are the people Trudeau finds offensive. Surplus to the 'elites'. And yeah Trudeau and Biden both talk the Hitler playbook. I'm thankful Maher's willing to break rank with democrats on this issue. People who would never hear our screams can still hear Maher.

If truckers are forced to leave Ottawa they should just park their trucks at home and stop working

And how do they do that? Arrest the first drivers in the front. Now you've gotta tow away 3-4 semis. Repeat. For a couple miles? Even if the city can find tow companies with the heavy trucks to tow semis, that are willing to do so (other articles say most tow companies in the city have said they won't touch this), where are they gonna tow all these trucks to? I doubt most impound lots have room for more than a couple trucks.
