As Jen would tell you (if you would only listen) apparently a lot of people mistaken for terrified and desperate refugees trying to escape Afghanistan as events closed tightly around them, restricting their freedom to leave, were actually folks who WANTED to stay in the country. You had to look closely and maybe squint to see that.
