the entire story seems to be B.S.
Rubio did introduce a bill a year ago,

When a thread like this gets posted in the News forum that is based on complete bullshit and disinformation and people go on yakking about it without questioning the veracity or checking it out, that tells you a lot about the state of FR today.
The bill Rubio submitted is now the same bill passed by the House as amendment to the Lacy Act. It creates a white list of species approved for transport into the Us and between the states. ALL OTHERS are banned.
It awaits certain approval by the Senate based on Republican support from Collins and Ribio.
