Maybe you should go back and read the post I was responding to and my response. I never said anything about civil disobedience.
You most certainly did, even if you didn’t use those words. You said:
“If they are blocking traffic, they are breaking the law. I assume, I don’t know anything about Canadian laws.”
Breaking the law is a necessary step in civil disobedience, which is what the truckers are doing. They are no longer engaged in “peaceful protest”, but civil disobedience. This is different than what BLM did because BLM engaged in violence and civil disobedience must still be nonviolent.
If you condemn any protest that breaks the law, even nonviolently, then you condemn civil disobedience of every type.
