Not “overturn” (only the State legislatures could do that).
He could have kicked the elector slates back to the States.

There were states with several delegations. These were contested elections in those states. All he had to do was ask the state legislators to resolve these conflicts.

Maybe it the state legislatures had asked him to do that he might have been able to, though even that is very questionable. But none of the state legislatures did.

1. Show us the Constitutional or statutory provision allowing him to send the electors back to the states.

2. Would we want the current Vice President (by vote cheating) to send OUR candidate’s electors back to the states?

Where does it say in the Constitution, or Federal Law, that the VP can send electoral ballots back to the state legislatures?

Congress has the power to reject any or all electoral ballots, not the VP.

For those that are saying the VP can reject elecotral ballots, keep in minde that Heels Up Harris will be presiding over the electoral process in Congress in Jan ‘25. You better hope the VP doesn’t have the power to select which electoral ballots to keep and which to send back.

You are right and they keep asking Pence about “overturning” the election. We know what a total rotten person Pence is because he plays along with the lie to make himself look justified.

"He could have kicked the electors slates back to the States."

He could, and should have, but being a self-serving prick, he chose the coward's way out, and went along, to get along. Even though it had never been done before, he could have tried, just to see where it all would have gone. More than likely, each State's case would have ended up in the courts, and Judges may have actually been forced to allow those cases to move ahead. We'll never know, because he put his tail between his legs, and surrendered to the Democrats. Pence chose poorly, and destroyed his whole political career in one day. He needs to go away for good.

Jan 6 was a hearing of objectors, completely legal, constitutional. Judas was to simply hold certain Electors objected to, hold them in abeyance until the objections were heard and votes taken.

But Judas had an accomplice Marc Short, a rabid unrepentant Never-Trumper, serving as the VP Chief of Staff but in reality a flunky looking to curry favor with the DC Grifter Class.

And so the narrative emerged that Judas Pence couldn’t wouldn’t “dare overturn the election.”

Written straight from someone’s Marxist marching orders.

By agreeing to go along with that narrative, Pence revealed his true colors, those of a Traitor

That was something Congress could have done, not Pence on his own. Congress wasn’t going to do it and the unrest at the Capitol made it even less likely Congress would do it. Trump’s blaming Pence, when he had a lot to blame himself for, was not his finest hour.

Having observed the behavior of the state legislators and of the Republicans in Congress, even if it was “kicked back” to them there is no way they were going to change the results.

THAT is exactly what he should have done.
