A man with local ties died Jan. 28 after doctors say his second COVID vaccine caused an immune response that led to the development of an autoimmune disease.
Brandon Pollet, 33, was born and raised in LaPlace and lived in St. Charles Parish for 10 years before moving to Ponchatoula.
“Brandon had no prior medical history,” Brandon’s wife Jessica Pollet said. “After his second Pfizer vaccine, Brandon developed a headache right away then fever 48 hours after.”
His first hospitalization was Oct. 21 – Nov. 7.
“He was worked up for hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, or HLH, but it was ruled out and he was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Still’s Disease,” Jessica said. “After discharge, Brandon went home for about a month and was then re-hospitalized Dec. 14.”
Jessica said it was later in December when Brandon was officially diagnosed with HLH. The couple has a 1-year-old daughter.
“He received the HLH protocol treatment, which included chemotherapy,” she said last week. “Unfortunately, none of the usual treatments have worked. The doctors have agreed that the COVID vaccine caused an immune response that led to the development of the autoimmune disease and HLH.”
Jessica said that the employees of Shell Oil – where Brandon worked as an instrument mechanic – have been incredibly supportive and encouraging to the entire family, as has the entire St. Charles Parish community.
“The community has organized blood drives and a GoFundMe account to support Brandon and to help us pay medical bills,” Jessica, who took leave from work to care for Brandon, said. “We ask for your thoughts and prayers.”

I embarrassed because this is so horrible and tragic but I did laugh at your comment, not at this tragic outcome, because people are actually saying such ridiculous things! Triple vaxxed and boosted then they get Covid and then say, oh it would have been so much worse if I wasn’t vaxxed! Arggh..

Unfortunately true. My vaxxed healthy cousin, age 36, developed a catastrophic illness finally diagnosed as HLH. After six weeks in the ICU, he passed away. As I was researching HLH I saw a medical article out of China which attributed an adult onset HLH case to the vaccine, not sure which vaccine it was. Was the illness coincidental? Perhaps. Or is HLH becoming a catch all diagnosis for a vaccine disease? Either way,I think the medical community is whistling past the graveyard on this.
That is one scary old cartoon... it is probably not authentic, but who cares... it captures the whole plandemic perfectly.
Those are brave doctors, risking their careers for truth.

The anthrolpologist in me -- still a newbie but one who has sent money to support this site -- begins to take note of who posts to which threads.
Correct me if I am wrong, but there seem some small "cast of characters" who appear together on one thread to support one another -- most often about "safe and effective" messaging -- and are nowhere to be found on others. Do you find this too?
My company announced they won’t require anyone to report their vaccine status. They were waiting for all the legal issues to get resolved.

I find it astonishing and almost impossible to believe that at least half of the US population still believes these shots are “vaccines” and “safe and effective” despite proof to the contrary.
Even worse is that most of them that have had a family member, friend or co-worker die from the “jab” still believe it is safe and effective.
Bottom line is the government is their god and the media is the clergy speaking on behalf of their god.
Crazy times.
And going to get crazier.
So criminal! Businesses mandating jabs that can kill you and don’t prevent a disease that almost everyone survives.
I have to assume they’re all in for the fascist Great Reset.

This will continue to happen. Autoimmune diseases of all kinds will pop up. There will be far more than before. They will be of many types. So it will be hard to say where they came from. People will just know that their loved one was unlucky. But they were unlucky because they had cells that looked to much like the vaccine. And so their body attacked them. There will be lots of these with different names but they will all have the same cause, COVID vaccines.
