How does he legally do such a thing?
Can the same thing be done for conservative candidates?
Inquiring minds would like to know.

How does he legally do such a thing?

How? Because generations of congress critters wrote laws to permit massive graft. These are called "campaign contributions," but are nothing more than legalized bribes. There are some politicians who truly believe certain principles, but the overwhelming majority have no principles at all. They back whatever their oligarch paymasters want backed. This is true across all politicians at all levels.

If Soros was throwing those huge sums to Republicans, almost everyone calling themselves a Democrat would either switch parties or call themselves a "moderate." And they would find a way to back whatever Soros wanted just to get in on the gravy train.

And yes, it can be done for conservative candidates. But our side doesn't have the equivalent of a Soros to throw money around to us.
