A smart thing to do would be to invite an s-load of “neutral observers” to the region, with 24-7 videos all over the Internet. Lots of maps showing unit locations and commentary about what the politicians and spin doctors are saying.
Make “the show” easy to get in Russia, with great clarity who is where on the border. “Oh, look at the Russian tanks running over the defenseless Swiss camp!” Very bad PR.
