I forgot...what is it when you have a Muslim shooter? That seems like a category all by itself.

When it's a Muslim shooter, we are reminded that Islam is a "religion of peace" and are warned about a "backlash" of "Islamophobia." Blame is limited to the individual, who we are assured does not represent "true" Islam.

If the perp is a conservative or a Christian, however, blame is spread far and wide.

With Muslim shooters, there is always puzzlement about what the motive could be. No one ever has any idea what could cause a Muslim to perpetrate violence.
