The CIA is overseeing a secret intensive training program in the U.S. for elite Ukrainian special operations forces and other intelligence personnel, according to five former intelligence and national security officials familiar with the initiative. The program, which started in 2015, is based at an undisclosed facility in the Southern U.S., according to some of those officials.
The CIA-trained forces could soon play a critical role on Ukraine’s eastern border, where Russian troops have massed in what many fear is preparation for an invasion. The U.S. and Russia started security talks earlier this week in Geneva but have failed thus far to reach any concrete agreement.

Well I grew up at the end of WWII, Korea, Nam etc served overseas in direct contact with KGB, stationed 4 Km from 400,000 Russian troops with 35,000 tanks, endured daily life threats with no defense not even a pistol, saw aftermath of Spetsnaz machine gunning of young Russian troops who listened to Western music, watched people machine gunned trying to get to West Germany, etc and still never hated Russians.
The CCP is not the Chinese people who have no choice in their government. I don’t hate the CCP either - disgusted, dislike, revolted etc yes, hate no.
Hate solves nothing, but creates more hate, until people die needlessly for some stupid point. Mostly people hate what they do not understand. Not understanding, leads to misconceptions, leads to more hate, more death.

CIA training Ukrainians on US soil is a long ways from the US leading an insurrection in Ukraine.
A post-invasion insurrection will require congressional allocation of $billions.
And I don’t believe there is a majority in Congress anxious to fund an overt (can’t be a secret NOW) insurrection against a nuclear armed state that is practicing real politik and pursuit of its strategic interests.
And the US with absolutely NO interests in Ukraine.
I’ll be the first to graciously concede if it comes true, but I believe it’s a delusion.
