The final fallback position is the “less severe illness” claim which cannot be substantiated since the virus affects individuals so differently, with effects ranging from death to not even knowing you’ve caught it and beaten it.
I submit it cannot be proven that the shots have any worth whatsoever.
This is indeed a strawman claim, with no real statistics to back it up. Plus, what exactly is “less severe illness”? My wife and I are unvaccinated and spent the last week sick with Covid — and we were back on our heels. We’re still suffering some issues with tomorrow being one full week.
While we were certainly very ill, we did not have to go to the doctor or hospital. We took common sense procedures, no ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine, with the most exotic thing we treated ourself being Quercetin. An argument could be made that — as sick as we were — we had “less severe illness” than someone who had to go to the hospital.
So again, looking at the curve, most folks had “less severe illness” — vaccinated or not…
