A total of 140 House Republicans and Democrats are lobbying President Joe Biden to cut United States tariffs on billions of dollars worth of China-made imports.
Last month, Breitbart News exclusively reported how Reps. Darin LaHood (R-IL), Jackie Walorski (R-IN), Ron Kind (D-WI), and Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA) were courting lawmakers to sign their letter to U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Katherine Tai — urging her to allow more “made in China” imports to avoid U.S. tariffs. The Section 301 tariffs on billions of dollars worth of China-made products were first imposed by former President Trump after a decades-long free trade consensus in Washington, D.C., that has eliminated 3.7 million American jobs from the U.S. economy from 2001 to 2018.
Though the Biden administration is set to preserve most of the China tariffs, Tai is currently reviewing more than 500 China-made products that could become excluded from the tariffs.
The letter, now signed by 140 House Republicans and Democrats, includes the signatures of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as well as Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), Burgess Owens (R-UT), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Ken Buck (R-CO), Young Kim (R-CA), and Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), among others.

Thank you!

If ypu could put the “t” in “lef,” it might be even more funny.
If these Companies want to have their tariffs reduced they should build their products here in the United States Not China or in any other Communist Regime.
Until that’s done I say increase those tariffs.
Assistant Democrats are back assisting Democrats who want to assist China.
China is whom they are representing.
Kneel before China, American peasants.
Sincerely, The Republican-Democrat-Uniparty.
"American technology still should be shielded from Chinese acquisition, especially if a large research program passes Congress.6 But far more money is heading from the US to the PRC. New American portfolio investment in China in 2016–20 approached $800 billion.7 The Department of the Treasury fails to provide sector breakdowns, so policymakers do not know if Chinese technology is being supported. To make matters worse, export control reform Congress passed in 2018, to limit technology sales, remains largely unimplemented.8 The US is not competing with China; we’re helping them.

I can understand the Dems doing their beloved CCP a favor but how much is the CCP shoveling to the Republicans to put their signatures on the petition on their behalf?
We should do the exact opposite. We should be steadily raising tariffs on China. The point is to ween ourselves off of China - and stop providing funding for the Chicoms and bring those manufacturing jobs back to the US thus enhancing our national security.
Going back to screwing over America once again.

I always wondered about Jackie Walorski. Now I know what she made of.
Traitors. Each of them.
The only reason two parties still exist is to give voters the illusion of choice.
The letter after the name means jack anymore.
You’re either loyal to our former republic or to Deep State.
These 140 pols are Deep State.
And our Deep State is in bed with the ChiComs.

With longing eyes, the Republicans look across the isle and see all the benefits the Democrats receive, under the table, for pledging allegiance to China’s Central Committee. So when campaign funds need refreshers ...
These whores have learned nothing from the supply chain problems we’re having now.
I cannot find a breakdown by party
But 140 of 435 is less than 33%
