I mean, he probably shouldn’t have deleted it because the Internet is forever,Bob. Robert Reich served as labor secretary under Bill Clinton and was quite angry about Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s (D-AZ) decision to not join the radical Left’s ploy to nuke the filibuster and pass an elections takeover bill. This is the bill that Democrats think would end voting rights for everyone if it doesn’t pass. It’s pathetic theater, but Sinema and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) joined the GOP to stop the nuking of the filibuster which was needed. We all knew this was going to fail. Sinema-Manchin shouted their opposition for weeks prior to Chuck Schumer’s ‘Hail Mary’ throw here. He only managed to embarrass his party, but Reich is a close runner-up for his tweet that insinuated that Sinema should be slapped around for her filibuster vote.
Progressive men are very feminist and support strong women, except for when they advocate for violence against women who step out of line, like Kyrsten Sinema. https://t.co/yEcMnP8iKD
— Christina Pushaw ?? (@ChristinaPushaw) January 20, 2022 She shook hands with her Republican colleagues on the night of the vote. How dare she? Leah covered this story first. In Democratic Party circles, violence against women is only okay when we do it. Reich tried to backtrack.
“Last night I deleted a tweet because it was widely misinterpreted and distorted by conservative media. ‘Back of the hand’ is an idiom for rebuke. I wholeheartedly condemn violence against women.”

“jumps parties soon and has a few solid years as a Republican in the Senate”
rdcbn1,have you every looked at her positions on contemporary issues? She’s like 99% liberal. Despite this one vote, Sinema is a solid liberal democrat.
The midget fantasies about a little S & M but he’s afraid to manhandle a woman bigger than he is and can’t find a woman smaller than him.
Arizona is a strange state when it comes to Senators and John McCain was the one of the strangest cases. Sinema is no McCain. She was lucky to win in an election with circumstances that foreshadowed the 2020 election. She does not have broad support with voters. John McCain was very well connected. He came from a family of military heroes and was married to very, very wealthy and ambitious wife with an unlimited taste for power and prestige. McCain used his position, his connections and his wife’s wealth to build an unbeatable political machine that had massive influence on Az state politics. It probably is not fair to say McCain owned the Az Republican Party, but McCain Machine was the states most powerful influence broker. Sinema has none of the above advantages. McCain’s public image as a maverick was nothing but media cover for his back stabbing power games and clever manipulation of swing vote power. McCain was actually the quintessential Washington smoke filled back room insider. Sinema is trying to emulate the McCain media image, not the McCain business model. Not going to work for her.
I can understand Robert Reich wanting to “back hand” Sinema. Considering his height it would be about butt level. LOL
“...Sinema should jump parties...”
This would make her a RINO.
An idiom from an idiot!
back of the hand is known as a pimp slap. Glad little guy is up on his idioms.
While I can’t speak for others here, I do know that Sinema would deck me in 3 seconds flat if I tried something cute like he suggests, as she’s a Tri-Athlete.
Robert Reich is a small man with a small brain and that stupid comment he made illustrates the fact of his smallness, perfectly.
I think the exact quote from Robert Reich was that he wanted Sinema “Dwarf-handled.” the media cleaned up the quote to hide Reich’s fetish for Sinema.
smh
We’ve been above their games for years. I’m done being “better than that” because it makes them worse than they were.
They play, I play.
