I notice lately that drivers no longer make proper turns. I have to having close calls where drivers - making left turns - tend to turn crossing the double lines into the incoming traffic. I immediately place my brakes to give ample room so they would not hit me.

I looked at the nighttime picture in the article and couldn’t figure it out either. Perhaps he was making a left at the end of a green, maybe yellow, or even red because she kept coming.

If one is in the intersection trying to turn left when the light turns red...it is legal to continue the intended turn...in Cali...at some intersections, drivers coming in opposite direction can block a driver from turning left .If a driver is then stranded in the middle of the intersection, the cross traffic will be blocked..so the law allows you to finish the turn. If a driver is not in the intersection...they must not turn.
I respect Arnold as an actor, but this time he needs to be held accountable. It is past time to show Hollywood they are not above the law and when they make mistakes they need to answer for them.
