Mitch & McCarthy are all over this potential voter theft.

Thanks, now I'll sleep better tonight knowing this.

Other nations allow voting at their embassies worldwide for citizens who are traveling. But it is only one election day.

This reduces the need for extended voting and even absentee ballots.

Embassies and military bases are US soil and voting should be conducted at these.

I think the Kentucky gubernatorial vote counting last time was a dry run for the presidential vote counting in 2020. Same thing happened. All the republicans won - except for the governor.

Before early voting came to Tennessee my husband and I voted absent because we were not going to be here for the particular election as we were going to a family reunion his niece held in Rochester, New York.

And many of you complain about early voting. If someone knows he or she won’t be here for the election, why should they not take advantage of the early voting opportunity?

I remember reading in 1966..the book NONE DARE CALL IT TREASON. How Lyndon Baines Johnson stole his first election in Deaf Smith County vote rigging. Nothing was ever done. I wondered THEN, why changes were not made!

That is the purpose of absentee ballots.

This really got going in Florida 2000.

David Boies went into court and pleaded the idea that "voter intent" was the critical issue.

This was an attempt to resurrect Rousseau's concept of General Will, rather than meaningless arithmetical counting of votes, as the ticket to legitimacy.

This was cut short by the Supreme Court decision Bush v. Gore (wrongly decided, BTW), but revived with Thomas Frank's book What's the Matter With Kansas?after Bush beat Kerry.

The book was a ripoff of Lenin's "What is to be Done?", and the point - that workers were voting against their interests because the bosses controlled their sources of information - was the same.

They still believe this, and therefore cannot and will not accept an election result that has them losing.

Yup we have to go back to paper ballots, receipts, voter ID and 1 day voting.

The only people that can vote by mail would be military and diplomats stationed overseas along with people bed bound. Too sick or old to make it. For instance, the elderly.

I think the Kentucky gubernatorial vote counting last time was a dry run for the presidential vote counting in 2020. Same thing happened. All the republicans won - except for the governor.

They have been testing this in multiple heavy Democratic areas for years. If you remember, in 2012, certain precincts in Philadelphia went 100% to 0% for Obama. Romney did not get a single vote. I was there and the polling places were empty, but turnout was over 100% of registered voters.

The secret is to have enough registered voters in Democratic controlled precincts to swing statewide elections. That gives them control over the White House, Senate, Governor's office, State Attorney General, State Secretary of State, State Supreme Courts, etc.

The voters do not have to show up and actually vote. They voting is done on behalf of those registered. Any audit would not detect this. It would only certify that the number of ballots equals registered voters. Remember, you cannot ask a voter how they voted, so there is no way to determine a vote was cast contrary to the way someone actually voted.

While they cannot control individual congressional districts, they can swing every statewide election their way from the big cities (Democratic-controlled areas).

And many of you complain about early voting

Voting in a republic is a civic ritual with ceremonial aspects.

Part of the ceremony is that voters are supposed to have listened to the candidates and considered their arguments.

Now, we know this is partly or mostly fake - but it's still important, since it makes "elections" seem legitimate. Occasionally things happen late in a campaign which could (or should) change a voter's mind.

What early voting does is, it flips the script. It holds up the principle that it's fine to vote WITHOUT considering what the candidates have to say.

Now, you know and I know that there are tens of millions of voters in West Philadelphia and East St. Louis, and elsewhere, who know who they are going to vote for a year before the election. But this is bad. In a perfect world, no one should be voting who is not engaged in the process.

In African elections, the ballots are marked with a symbol. Each tribe, or nation if you must, has their own symbol, they all get ballots marked with that symbol, and they line up to cast them on "election day".

That's not the way our system is supposed to work.

If you know your vote before the campaign ends, if you do not pay attention to what is said and what is done and what is revealed during the campaigns, then our system has changed from what it used to be - and it's one short stop to declaring the result based on a racial or religious census without actual arithmetical counting of votes.

This is not, on the whole, a good thing.

Yep. It was atrocious. In some areas the third party actually got more votes than Romney. That was the year I stopped trusting our election process.

Ha, ha, JFK lost his election too. Cheating and suppressing election fraud information has been built-in the system for decades. Do you honestly believe the Establishment wants the give up the power to choose a President? Trump’s election was a fluke. They almost made the similar mistake in NJ this year too (that’s why they had to find more votes).

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

In the eyes of Dhimmicraps, any election they lose is illegitimate.
