LOL, no he does it so he can make it home after he runs some errands, because he didn’t plan out his milage. Do you think it’s OK for him to steal his employers electricity? If he couldn’t charge it at work, what would he do? Sure can’t just run by one of the dozen gas stations within a half mile, spend 3 minutes, and not have to worry about it again for another week.

“steal”? WTF? I worked two places that had chargers, cost 4 bucks to fully charge ~100 miles range. Some places offer it free. If it’s right there, and cheap, then just becomes habit to plug in; you’d do the same if gas top-off was equally convenient.

“If he couldn’t charge it at work, what would he do?” Charge at home, like most EV owners. No biggie. Was nice to almost never have to go to a station, just plug in when arriving home, unplug when leaving, topped off every morning.
