I am not sure that I understand what you are trying to say. Few things are totally free. Are you saying that you pay nothing extra for the televised content that you get bundled with your internet and phone? What are you paying per month for your combined services? Fios is certainly not free in our area and charges extra for bundling TV and phone services. Premium content such as AMC+ , HBO, etc. costs more still. It is not available at either of the houses we currently own.
We do not actually have to pay to stream other than subscribing to a high-speed internet provider. We pay for premium services as described in my previous posts. OAN is currently free through KlowdTV and there are many other free ad supported streaming services both with channels and on demand content. Even Comcast has given us a “free” streaming device that they provide “free” programming on. We just do not use it much.
I was talking about, I think, what you might have with Comcast. It’s all paid for and not cheap. But it includes tv.frontier.net where you can stream with your account info.
Even if OAN is cheap on its own, it’s not free. And ala carte programming can add up. I’m pretty sick of having netflix, amazon, frontier and so on as different paid accounts. I looked into Youtube TV, but it costs almost the exact same as my FIOS/Frontier bill.
I’m not watching that much regular TV anymore and might just go with a few streaming services and ad-free Youtube (with an ad blocker) someday.
