Financial fraud is bad enough for the average joe, and some people might somehow be unaware that if you like on a bank loan application you can get into a world of trouble. Maybe.

She’s not that guy though.. She’s a lawyer, an officer of the court. I realize that lawyers don’t have the greatest reputations, but everyone I personally know in that trade is fully aware of the hot water they could get into with this sort of thing.

But it gets worse for her. She’s supposed to be the chief prosecutor for Baltimore, IOW, one of the top two LE officials in the county, the other being the elected sheriff.

There is no excuse for this. Just imagine if a Republican DA had tried anything remotely like this, CNN would have wall-to-wall coverage for weeks.

She’s the number one law enforcement official.

Baltimore is one of 14 jurisdictions in the US that is a city independent of any county. St. Louis is the other big city like that.

There is a sheriff but his duties as far as I know only entail the jail. He has no citywide enforcement authority.
