Let’s build them on the border on top of a big wall. That’s a compromise.

Sorry. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. I kid you not. As far as I recall, the ocean is gonna do pretty much whatever it wants to do.

Think green, they are going to shiver in the dark, except I suspect the illegal aliens will be 1st to get power. The elite won’t.
And they’ll throw the illegals under the bus as soon as they have outlived their usefulness.
The problem is, the illegals are less likely to be constrained by American values and morals and will be harder to control and hence pose a more unpredictable threat to the elite than law abiding Americans.
And the elitists have to know this.

I don’t know why a state like Texas that is awash in oil and natural gas needs those stupid ass ugly windmills.
Here in Maine our soon to be ex-governor, Janet Mills (demonrat) has been pushing and subsidizing those ugly wind mills and solar farms with taxpayer money for some time now.
My family owns a chunk of land and we’ve gotten letters from companies in New York City, Boston and San Francisco that want to rent part of our land for thirty years.
Those letters are never answered by us.

The only food on the shelves will be canned beans. Just have to get everyone to face the same direction.

Massachusetts has a lot of those giant windmills and every time I drive through that state they are NEVER moving, and I've been driving through there for years on I-95 and not once have I ever seen one wind mill turning which tells me after they put them up they realized they produced squat so they stopped using them.

In UK they have 2 problems with windmills at sea:
1. During storms and other high wind times the windmills have to shut down because of the high speeds involved.
2. In winter during low wind speed, the freezing cold causes the gear box oil to freeze, so the windmills have to be fed with electricity to keep them warm.
The working guts of a wind generator.....see the white hard hat on the top of the cabinet..(upper right)...gives some idea of the size of the beast.

Branden Administration Plans To Build Wind Farms To Power 10 Million Homes
So Lesgo Brandon will need standby power plants to supply 10 million homes...for when there is no wind or during shutdown maintenance periods.

Clear cutting “old growth” forests is ok so long as you are building wind or solar farms.
Fewer trees, less CO2 needed.
Ugh!

Every time I see these stupid windmills they’re never moving.
Except when I went to Canada... they were all moving. I remember thinking to myself that it was so weird to see them all actually moving.

I have a suggestion. Have FERC issue a rule that any new generation project must be able to produce at a level equal to 85% of the total nameplate rating of the project for a minimum of 168 hours (7 days) and be dispatchable on 15 minutes notice. So if someone wants to build a 5000 MW wind project then it has to be able to produce at least 4,250 MW constantly for a week. You can do it however you want, batteries or thermal generation but failure to do so when required will incur SERIOUS financial penalties.
