Have you tried Target or Walmart? Prolly the lowest prices you’ll find.
Dollar Tree Stores knows what’s up. They didn’t go from $1.00 to a $1.10 for their items which is a more reasonable increase vs the actual inflation rate. They went straight to $1.25 to avoid further price increases over the next year. You could say they are gouging now, but inflation will catch up to the $1.25 prices soon enough.

Even our Texas grocery chain, HEB, had several empty shelves, today.
Really unusual....as they have their own distribution lines, many of which are local/in state.
When I stopped by an area Kohl’s store, last week, the store looked empty of inventory. I asked the clerk if they were closing the store (which is in a very fast growing, affluent area) and she said No. I asked where the inventory was....she said, We put out what they send us. We just keep moving the rounder racks further apart.
Food and Energy excluded!

I sense a business opportunity. A drive-thru supermarket. Stay in your car and drive up and down the supermarket aisles tossing groceries into the trunk.
