Sedition not insurrection. 19 people. It was done only a few days ago after the FBI was shamed over Ray Epps and Stewart Rhodes. Epps has yet to be charged with anything. Over 700 have been charged with lesser crimes like trespassing and obstruction. We will see how many are convicted of sedition.

They are being charged with sedition now for political purposes so they can be constitutionally blocked from running for office.

Probably either one if convicted. 19 charged, none of them politicians. Do you expect the FBI to indict politicians, current and past? That would be a massive political blunder.

It does appear they are trying to make the case against Trump to deny him another run at President. No clue if they will succeed but it sure looks like that is where they are trying to go.
