“Profit driven radio” seems much more admirable than a
“profit driven congress”. You decide, Adam.
But profit and power have nothing to do with what the left is doing to this country. . . . Kinsucker, is it possible for anybody to be a bigger dumba$$ than you?????????
Kinzinger is a pathetic loser, a drama queen, and a media whore. His days of glory are numbered.
The base has not changed we are tired of the lip service Rs. The ones who only pass tax cuts and nothing else that matters to the base. They sure will put things out if they get the house and senate though, knowing that Biden will veto it all.
Kinzinger is an apolitical climber. He’s just mad now because he chose the wrong party. He’ll probably try to run as a Dem in the future.
Just like Morning Joe.
I am sure, like all the others, he’s manages to parlay a 175K year salary into several millions. He probably did what they all do, insider trading.
Kinzinger is talentless.
I hope he enjoys a boring, obscure, undeserved retirement.
“Our Democracy”. A term used by the DC insider set to describe “their democracy” which means that they are in charge and free to pillage.
Anything that threatens that is a “threat to our democracy.”
Heads win, tails they lose, but either way they win or else you are threatening “our democracy.”
The name Kinzinger, like Cheney, will live in infamy just like the name Quisling or Benedict Arnold.
I do respect those members of Kinzinger’s family who have publicly disowned him. I would do the same if I were related to this low-life.
Such a repulsive little McCain acolyte commie. He is such a twisted little punk that his family doesn’t even like him.
This is the guy Texas Representative Dan Crenshaw says is a genuine conservative. Somebody needs to primary ole Dan. He might have an impressive war resume but he certainly doesn’t know what a real conservative is. That should scare the holy hell out of his constituents.
Our constitutional republic, as is often properly noted here on this forum, is not, strictly a democracy. In some of its features it is more democratic than in others. For example, the selection of the president and the selection of members of the House of Representatives is relatively democratic , especially when compared to selection of United States Senators or appointment of federal judges.
In areas where our Constitution designs democracy to rule, such as in free speech of public discourse, we want that democracy to be nearly complete. So, we accept in limited circumstances slander and libel from the protection of free speech but that exception is very narrow when it applies to elected officials (or used to be) because we want the widest freedom among the people to express their will.
In accordance with these principles, the Supreme Court has ruled that money is speech. In other words the value of disseminating the peoples will is to be protected by protecting their right to spend money, or to make movies.
We should not find this to be a surprising reality. We know that the whole of the free market operates on the principle that money is in a extremely effective way for the public to a express its desires concerning a commercial product. People in effect vote with their pocketbooks so popular products prosper and unpopular products wither.
Where could it be more clear that profitable support of talk radio is a manifestation of a democratic will to consume that conservative political message? Profit driven radio is how we measure the the degree of democratic support for that message. When we take profit out of radio, such as we have done to a substantial degree with National Public Radio, we find less public support then we did for Rush Limbaugh who boasted of his "profit centers." Conservative talk radio is far more financially profitable than is progressive talk radio.
Democracy has finally found a place where it can rule.
But will the GOPe RINOs let them? After all, who is it that make the rules? Who is it that have "war chests" that have already been filled with GOP money left over from past elections. Let us not forget private money from vote influencing "contributions". As incumbents, their ability to aquire more private money with promises or past special interest votes is a decided advantage.
Crenshaw has been a real disappointment.
Its actually pretty revealing about his thought process... “profit driven radio”... What’s wrong with that? Should it not be? Should it be state sponsored? NPR isn’t profit driven, and obviously the MSM isn’t either, they’re agenda driven, and they spout opinions... Kinzinger is a disgrace, and an embarrassment.
or Mudd
Kinzinger. Gets elected as a as so called Republican in a very deep blue state. Can’t win re election, so he decided to go full blown commie so he could can continue to be anti America by becoming a lobbyist or a pundit on CNN or DNCNBC. The guy is a complete stooge.
Yep, basically following Morning Joe’s path.
