The real narrative is the economy. The inflation. The difficulty finding employees. Remember what Bill Clinton’s motto was in 1992. We may not like him, but on that point he was right. Independents/swing voters couldn’t give a fig about January 6 if their raise is being eroded by Bindenflation.

You’re right. What concerns real people are
1) prices for food and fuel,
2) bare shelves, not being able to find things they want in supermarkets and stores,
3) personal safety from rising crime
4) their kids education and emotional well being being adversely affected by lockdowns.
The difficulty finding employees = not offering high enough wages.
