Since I couldn’t see her face, I really couldn’t tell but I lean toward uncaring.
I used the term “corporate medicine” and she basically ended the conversation.

I’m in a similar situation. I have a specialist who’s been a mask nazi since day one. I’ve played along, but I’m tired of being scolded by the office personnel. I told him, “I haven’t seen your face in two years, and you wouldn’t recognize me on the street. I’d rather have a doctor who wasn’t afraid of me.”
My GP has never worn a mask with me, and only does so if patients request it.
Even the few doctors who do not work directly for the huge “corporate” practices are very involved in payments from insurance companies and government. It would be interesting to see how “concierge” doctors are treating their patients who get Covid
