I'm in the military and since I'm vaxxed but not boosted, I'm not considered fully vaccinated so in order to return to work, I have to test negative or quarantine for five days. I went out to find an at-home test but every store near me is wiped out. Turns out people have been hoarding them.
My wife and I also have minor colds so we've probably got the latest Snifflecron variant as well.
So, unable to find an at-home test, tomorrow I'm going to have to wait in one of those fun five hour lines at the local military hospital and then likely miss the entire week of work waiting for my results to come back.
It's a real Charlie Foxtrot.
Lol snifflecron- I like it
if you don’t have the ‘vid now, you will after waiting in that line.
see how this is working?

I got kicked out of my nephrologists’s office yesterday here in Chicago after testing negative for COVID - but I tested too soon after potential exposure, according to them. Over ONE DAY, they kicked me out, as quarantine would have been five days from my potential exposure, which was on Monday.
Negative test. No symptoms. Booted. It’s ridiculous, especially given the emergent nature of my appointment, which was now moved.
