Neither of whom betrayed the party as spectacularly as Ted has by calling peaceful Trump supporting protestors terrorists. Trump and Jordan have never handed the left such a huge gift on a silver platter either. What Cruz did was bad, real bad. Znd it wasn’t just a mistaken b.jrrting out something stupid either, he has been consistent in his swamp condemnation of the protestors as terrorists all along.
Saying dumb things is forgivable- we all say stuff from time to time that we didn’t pit a lot of thought into- but betraying the party is not- it revealed his love for the swamp, and his disdain for Maga. He’s had a year now,to condemn the unconstitutional imprisonment of the majority of political prisoners, who have been held in solitary Co fi event, for no good reason, and to co demn the fsct that they have been denied bail,simp,y because they woild not denounce Trump.
